About Me

Ashli Sartorelli is a Swiss-American creative practitioner and the founder of Imago Methods, based in New York and originally from Lugano, Switzerland.

At eight years old she picked up a camera and never really put it down. What she understood then, before she had the words for it, is that images communicate in a way language cannot always reach. They arrive before thought, settle into the body, and stay.

She holds a BA in Photography, a BA in Psychology, and a Swiss-accredited MA in Counselling, alongside being a certified yoga nidra instructor and holistic nutrition certified. Across every field she entered, the same truth kept surfacing: the brain thinks, remembers, and changes through image. Imago Methods is the convergence of that lifelong inquiry.

The collective exists because she believes this methodology belongs to more than one discipline and more than one person. It can be applied across an enormous range of fields, by practitioners willing to look at their work through that lens.

If any part of this resonates, whether you are looking for a session, curious about the methodology, or have simply always thought in pictures, reach out.
